About Me
Hi Friends! Welcome to "The Back Nine"!
I’m Tiffanie—a California girl at heart, born in the Bay Area, with 15 incredible years spent in Boston before landing in sunny San Diego. While I loved my East Coast chapter—its culture, food, and lifelong friendships—being back in California means family, old friends, and endless adventures. Being in San Diego, means more golf!
In addition to my family and friends, and beyond my love for golf, my world revolves around four things: food, travel, sports, and history. Every trip is a chance to hunt down the best eats, explore a city’s past, and, more often than not, catch a game—whether it’s a golf tournament, an NBA game, or a tennis match. If it’s on ESPN, I’m probably keeping up.
"The Back Nine" is my way of bringing all these passions together—where the game, the journey, and the stories in between all matter. So grab your clubs (or just your coffee) and follow along! ⛳️

Why "The Back Nine"?
The idea for this blog hit me one night while binge-watching Netflix—one of those "lightbulb" moments. I had always wanted to start another blog after a less-than-successful attempt in 2020, but the full journey hadn’t quite clicked. The inspiration fully hit following a conversation with my college roommates about how we’d celebrate our upcoming 40th birthdays (eek). The blog concept finally all came together, and I couldn't have done it without the help of my closest friends- who constantly had to listen to me gab and brain dump and who helped me with photography and design.
The "Back Nine" isn’t just a golf term—it’s a metaphor for life’s next chapter. It’s about reflecting on how far you’ve come, setting new goals, and moving forward with intention, joy, and purpose. Whether on the course or in life, it’s about embracing the journey, sharing the wins (and the mulligans), and making every swing count.
